Helsinki 1.7.2020 Hundreds of Somalis attended the commemoration of the 60th Anniversary of Somalia’s Independence Day held in East Helsinki on Wednesday.
The commemoration attracted youth, women, elders, children, activists and community representatives, who were waving the Somalia flag and chanting patriotic songs.
The Anniversary of Somalia’s Independence Day is commemorated every year in Finland and it represents the pillars that formally unite the Somalis.
